Memoire : Updates

Memoire is the combined updates log for Wusai's... umm... five? sites. Of course, updates will be logged at the other sites (except at Contemporary Image, where there's no updates page), but if you, the viewer, enjoys all of Wusai's sites, then here's where you can check to see if there were updates for any of the sites. Swell idea, I think. ;D

Wusai herself can be contacted through e-mail, AIM, and the commenting system. She's 1x years old and lives in southern California, U.S.A. She knows how to speak English fluently, has a second- or third-grader's level of Chinese (even though she is Chinese... how embarrassing...), is in Spanish 1, knows basic German (introductions) and is trying to teach herself more, and knows the standard otaku Japanese ('ohayou', 'kakkoi', 'tsuki', 'daisuke!', etc.). Oh, and she knows the language of the HTML, CSS, basic SHTML (only the includes XD), and basic PHP (again, only the includes XD;;).

She likes anime and manga, though her interests in them are fading slowly... because she's become obsessed with visual rock, and actually created a whole bimonthly webzine dedicated to it, as you can see to the right. She really appreciates feedback, and this is also the first time she's talking in third-person, believe it or not. ;D

Her favourite 'mainstream' visual band is Dir en Grey, and she has a whole collection of favourite indies/unknown/lesser-known visual bands, including +D'espairsRay+, Aliene Ma'riage, Blam Honey, k@mikaze, kagerou, Kagrra, metronome, Moi Dix Mois, MUCC, Noir Fleurir, Onmyouza, Phobia, Silver Ash, and Velvet Eden, to name a few... She also likes a couple visual/semi-visual solo artists, like Kana and Miyavi. She jumps between American English spellings and British English spellings. 'Cause British English looks 'so much cooler and more dignified'.

She loves Full Metal Alchemist. XD;

Wusai detests Avril Lavigne, bubblegum bands (Simple Plan, Good Charlotte, etc.), even though, deep down, she knows that a little of their stuff is okay. She's a grammar freak and detests people that type in sTiCkY cApS, and will not admit that she used to do so for about a day, once in her past. She likes laughing at Mary Sues, even though she wrote them before too (though she never posted them in public). She detests whiners, crybabies, close-minded people, vegetables, skirts (though she loves poofy dresses), wannabes, etc.

She thinks this bio is long enough for now. XD;

Oh, and this layout is Memoire's first layout, and it features Husky (or Hasuki, as the katakana goes) of +Anima, a very cute shoujo (it has some shounen elements to it, though) manga that can be found scanlated at Toriyama's World. The image was from the +Anima Mailing List, and the font is... her own pixelated font thing. XD It was made in Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0, and she's very satisfied with it even though it's so simple. It was originally going to be the next layout for her personal site, but then she changed it to the webzine, so...
